Help Support The Cancer Support Center Walk
Cancer Support Community Valley/Ventura/Santa Barbara will host its fourth annual Hope Walk from 8 a.m. to noon Sun., June 5 at the William Rolland Stadium at Cal Lutheran University, 60 W Olsen Road, Thousand Oaks.
This is the organization’s first in-person Hope Walk since the start of the pandemic.
BrightStar Care Conejo and Simi Valley is proud to participate in the upcoming walk. Many of our clients and their families have been supported by our wonderful local Cancer Support resource center here in Thousand Oaks. We are looking forward to walking in support of all the families in our community who have suffered from cancer diagnosis. Their mission is to ensure that all people impacted by cancer are empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action, and sustained by community. All of their programs are provided AT NO CHARGE thanks to the generosity of corporations, foundations and individuals who believe in their mission. Come join our BrightStar Care Team in support of this valuable community resource! The 5K Hope Walk is a family friendly, community event that promotes awareness and education about cancer while raising funds “to ensure that all people impacted by cancer are empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action, and sustained by community,” the organization said in a press release.
