We have been with BrightStar for our nursing coverage for over a year. We came to them battered and tired by our former nursing provider. We hadn’t had a week night nurse for over a year. Sleep was something we got in short naps. BrightStar came on the scene and made a commitment to us to find us coverage. It didn’t happen overnight but they found us quality nurses. To be able to go to bed and TRUST that the person sitting downstairs will care for your granddaughter is huge! To trust them in your home and be able to sleep is such a blessing. They have listened to every care and concern I have taken to them. They treat us like we matter, we’re not just a job. I am so thankful to have found them.

Brightstar provided 24/7 caretakers for my Mother after discharge to home from the hospital. My 97 yo Mother was bed bound and admitted to hospice care. Our primary caregiver during the last 5 weeks of my wife's life was Jocelyn! She was the hardest working, most dedicated health care person we had during the last 100 days of my wife's illness!!!!! She was a human dynamo, always looking how to make my wife's last days as comfortable as possible, and mine as well! Attentive, caring, compassionate, constantly alert to the slightest need. I can not recommend her highly enough. She deserves a 10 STAR rating from me!

We have been part of the BrightStar community for several months now. In early October our lives changed forever. Our youngest daughter had a brain surgery that altered everything about her. She now has a trach and gj tube. As well as being on a ventilator at times. She basically has to relearn everything she once knew. She is doing great now but it is a very slow process. Fast forward to February and we were released to go home with nursing. I was totally against having nurses in our home. This was something that I thought we would not need. We were given the name of Leigh from BrightStar. We met her and she met our daughter. Leigh told us she would pick a team for our daughter and she promised to screen every applicant and employee to find who would be best suited and specific for our daughter. BrightStar did not disappoint when picking nurses for our daughter/home. Our team of nurses are amazing! They mesh so well with our family. Actually at this point we consider them family. We are able to get back into the groove of life and know that our sweet baby is in the best care possible. Very respectful, qualified, caring nurses is what we have been blessed with. We could not imagine life without them at this point in life. We are so lucky and so is our daughter. Putting her health and care into someone else’s hands was a tough decision to make. 🌟Bright Star🌟 makes it easy to communicate with them. They’re charting and control substance logs, mean that everyone is up-to-date and aware of what has been given to our daughter throughout the day. We never have to stress about will a nurse be here or not. They have that all situated and any times that we need something covered, it is covered. they are fast and knowledgeable about situations. We truly are blessed to be able to have them here. We are able to get sleep when needed. We are able to attend children’s school events cheer events. My husband was able to return to his job at Louisville Metro. We could not ask for more From a company. We are able to get sleep when needed. Cook dinner. We are able to attend children’s school events. Go to our other daughters cheer events.
