Congratulations to Sihar Tambunan, the recipient of BrightStar Care’s Caregiver of the Year Award for the Western Region! Sihar has been an amazing caregiver with his patient for about two years, and has greatly helped to improve the quality of life for his patient and the family.
Sihar is caring, compassionate, and calm. He consistently exceeds expectations and always has a great attitude. You can't teach the fine qualities that Sihar exhibits every day; he is a natural! His reliability is comforting and he is efficient with his tasks. The patient had tried working with several different caregivers over the years, but he really clicked with Sihar and they have continued to strengthen their connection over time.
Recently, a few members of the BrightStar Care team coordinated a surprise reveal party with the patient’s family at their house to honor Sihar for this award. Our team was so grateful to be able to share this special moment with Sihar, his patient, and their family. Everyone in attendance was able to highlight Sihar’s special qualities and generous spirit that led to him receiving this award. We look forward to many more great years!
