Meet Ryan, an entrepreneur with a passion for making a difference in people's lives. Ryan’s career path has been both diverse and impactful. A seasoned professional with a background in commercial and healthcare banking, he held a dream of venturing into the realm of business ownership, driven by a desire to create solutions that positively impact people’s lives. His heart has always been in helping others, which led him on a journey to start up a home health agency. With his strategic mindset and compassionate nature, Ryan is dedicated to building Brightstar Care of Omaha into an agency that prioritizes personalized care and empowers individuals to live their best lives.

Meet Samantha, a seasoned Occupational Therapist with 15 years of experience in skilled rehabilitation. Her healthcare journey originally began in high school as a CNA, where she first discovered her passion for serving others. After many years working in an inpatient rehabilitation setting, Samantha realized that home healthcare offered something more-valuable time to build meaningful, one-on-one connections with the patients she served. During her transition into home health, she also recognized a growing need for high-quality, compassionate care, in the home environment.

This insight led her to embark on a new path alongside her husband, Ryan. Together, they found that the BrightStar Care model aligned perfectly with their vision. Today, they are the driving force behind BrightStar Care of Omaha, dedicated to delivering exceptional, personalized care to those they serve.

Outside of work, Samantha and Ryan enjoy spending time with their three children, who keep them busy with basketball, baseball, and volleyball. They are actively involved in their school community through volunteering, classroom events, and fundraisers. As a family, they enjoy golfing, traveling, and cheering on the Nebraska Cornhuskers any chance they get. Giving back remains at the heart of everything they do, and they look forward to making a lasting impact in their community for years to come.

Meet Shari, our Director of Nursing, who has more than 20 years of diverse nursing experience, including ICU, cardiac care, and private duty nursing. She combines strong clinical expertise with a compassionate, approachable leadership style that supports both our clients and care team. Shari is dedicated to fostering clear communication, attention to detail, and a supportive environment where patients feel comfortable and confident in their individualized care plans. She is equally committed to ensuring our staff feel supported, knowing they always have a trusted resource to turn to.

Adaptable and knowledgeable, Shari takes pride in her commitment to continuous learning and professional growth, always striving to elevate the quality of care we provide. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active with her two energetic 90-pound labs, exploring creative projects with laser engravers and 3D printers, and spending time in her church community

Meet Natalie, our Community Care Manager, whose passion for senior care began at a young age. She started her career working in the dining room of a local assisted living community and, through her strong work ethic, organization, and professionalism, has grown into a leadership role.

Natalie plays a key role in coordinating care by managing CNA schedules and staying closely connected with our clients and their families to ensure a high level of satisfaction. Her attention to detail and commitment to excellent service help create a seamless and supportive experience for everyone we serve.

Outside of work, Natalie enjoys spending time with friends and family, attending concerts, and traveling whenever she can.

Meet Darlene, one of our dedicated team members, a Certified Nursing Assistant with nearly 20 years of experience serving clients across skilled rehabilitation, memory care, and long-term care settings. Her extensive background has shaped her into a compassionate, knowledgeable caregiver who consistently goes above and beyond for those she serves.

In her role, she plays a vital part in training and supporting our CNAs, as well as introducing them to clients each day. Her ability to build trust, provide guidance, and ensure a smooth transition of care makes a meaningful impact on both our team and the families we serve.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children and is eagerly anticipating the arrival of her first grandbaby. In her spare time, she loves reading, watching movies, and playing cards and board games with family and friends.

Meet Kaylah, our Recruiter and HR Specialist, who brings seven years of hands-on experience as a CNA across skilled rehabilitation, long-term care, and home care settings. Her background in caregiving gives her a unique perspective when it comes to finding and supporting the very best caregivers for our team.

Known for her bubbly personality and approachable nature, Kaylah builds strong connections with both new and existing staff. She plays a vital role in our office by recruiting top CNA talent, leading weekly new hire orientations, conducting background checks, and ensuring all employee records are accurate and up to date.

Outside of work, Kaylah enjoys spending time with her daughter and family, traveling, and staying active. Her energy, positivity, and dedication make her an invaluable part of our team.
