BrightStar Care has Provided Louisville Health Professional with Free Continuing Education Credits as a Community Service for 6th Year
BrightStar Care Celebrates Ongoing Educational Training Series
Louisville, Kentucky (October 2018) - BrightStar Care of Louisville, a local leader in Home Care and Medical Staffing, hosted its 55th continuing education class for social workers, nurse case managers and other local health care professionals this September. As part of BrightStar Care’s commitment to education and training, they have provided free educational classes and certification credits to Louisville’s health care community since 2013.
BrightStar has hosted up to ten programs per year, providing 3,365 total continuing education credits, all free of charge, as a service to the community and their healthcare partners. . Helping to educate on important topics from prescription drug abuse, HIV and suicide prevention, to timely topics including a CDC presentation on Louisville's Hepatitis A outbreak, BrightStar Care Courses have been a long running program benefiting our community and helping to improve care for Seniors and patients with chronic conditions..

Lydon, on "Anxiety & Depressive Disorders". The last course of the year will be held on October 18th, and BrightStar Care will host the program "Embracing the Silver Tsunami: Combating Scams & Fraud Throughout the Commonwealth”. The speaker is Gerina Wethers, Executive Director, Office of Senior Protection and Mediation, Office of the Attorney General.
BrightStar Care of Louisville has conducted these programs for healthcare professionals in our area on the 3rd Thursday of the month regularly and is proud to celebrate it’s contributions to helping improve quality of care in Louisville.
