What expertise and experience do you bring to BrightStar Care?
I have worked for BrightStar Care in several different states, Arizona, Illinois and Nevada starting in 2007.
I am a certified infusion nurse with infusion experience my entire career as a nurse.
I have worked in several settings as an RN in my career including 15 years in L&D, mother/ baby, pediatric clinic, and as a school nurse.
What part of your job are you most passionate about?
I am most passionate about being an advocate for my patients. They rely on their home health nurse/ agency for continuity and consistency of care. I believe that it provides peace of mind to our patients to be able to provide continuity and consistency to them throughout their time as a patient with our agency.
What are three unique strengths you bring to BrightStar Care?
- I have a vast amount of experience as an RN with over 30 years in various areas of healthcare.
- I am very detail oriented with a passion for organization in all that I do, especially related to my role as DON. I am very fervent in my method of training new employees so they have the self-reliance and confidence to care for our patients as an independent home health nurse.
- I am tenacious. I am confident in my abilities and thought processes as a nurse director. I do not hesitate to assist in the processes required to bring new nurses and patients to Brightstar to ensure that they have a positive and fulfilling experience from the beginning.
