In-Home Care in Fairfax, VA

I signed up for in-home skilled nursing services of BrightStar Care of Fairfax. Nurse Taonga RN provided the services for about three months. Ms. Taonga is very skilled, polite, gentle and caring person. She arrived at my home always on time as promised. She exceeded my expectations and contributed a lot to my speedy recovery. Besides Ms. Taonga, the director of nursing, Emma is very responsive to my requests and always accommodated my schedule. Director Nora provided accurate billing and answered my requests for any additional information promptly. I highly recommend BrightStar Care of Fairfax for anyone. Employees such as Taonga, Emma, and Nora and others such as Charlie are the reason for the success of BrightStar care. I wish them all the best.

Brightstar is a wonderful company. I used them to care for my brother and they provided excellent service, with kindness, compassion and expertise. I knew I'd get amazing service because I've been working with them for thirteen years, and there's nobody else that I'd trust with my loved one. As a registered nurse who provides initial and on-going training, I know that the Brightstar staff are well-trained. Please see our attached photo of our training room. (And yes, that’s me testing the skills of our caregiver!) I value my relationship with our core staff, including Karen, our care coordinator. I have known her for about 10 years, and am constantly impressed by her integrity and compassion. BrightStar Care’s ability to grow and maintain a staff of 150+ amazing caregivers and nurses are due to a great work environment and stable staff.

I have been a caregiver for BrightStar Care of Fairfax for over five years. I have never had a job where I feel valued more. I love working with my clients, and the support I get from the company is amazing. There is always someone on call if I need help, my concerns are responded to, and usually resolved very quickly. "I wanted to take time to acknowledge what a blessing Sharon S. is to our family. My parents truly enjoy Sharon being with them 6 days per week. Sharon often, in my opinion, goes above and beyond to address some of my  parents request. For example, my mother recently wanted to entertain friends and asked Sharon to prepare grilled cheese and fruit for not only them, but their 4 guests.  Sharon willing prepared the meals and made the afternoon quite special for my mother.

Sharon is always willing to drive my parents to our home, a 1 ½ hour drive, and often more depending on traffic, so we can visit.  This is so thoughtful of Sharon given our very busy work schedules. Without Sharon’s effort, our visits would be fewer due to limited hours in our week.

Sharon is also willing to take my folks out to lunch or out for ice cream.  I know that mobilizing the two of them is a lot.  Sharon always expresses that they are “easy”. This outlook requires a special type of personality – someone who is compassionate, kind, and patient.  Sharon is all of these and more.
