What motivated you to become a CG/nurse?
My motivation stems from a deep desire to make a positive impact on people's lives. I've always been drawn to the healthcare field, and I find immense fulfillment in helping others navigate challenging times.
What aspect of your job are you most passionate about?
I'm most passionate about building meaningful relationships with my clients and their families. I believe that empathy, compassion, and understanding are just as essential as technical skills in delivering exceptional care.
How are you making things more possible for your Brightstar clients?
I strive to provide personalized care that caters to each client's unique needs and preferences. By being an attentive listener, a patient advocate, and a skilled caregiver, I aim to empower my clients to live their lives to the fullest.
What advice do you have for other CG?
My advice would be to always prioritize empathy, kindness, and compassion. Remember that every client has a unique story, and it's essential to approach each individual with sensitivity and understanding.
Tell us your favorite CG moment/story.
One of my favorite moments was when I helped a client celebrate her 100th birthday. We spent the day reminiscing about her life, sharing stories, and enjoying each other's company. It was a truly heartwarming experience that I'll always treasure.
How do you re-energize?
To re-energize, I prioritize self-care activities such as reading, the gym, gardening, and spending time in nature hiking. Additionally, I've volunteered my time and skills to the hospital, and I just signed up for my first 5K run in September for Santa Monica, which has not only broadened my experience but also given me a sense of purpose and fulfillment.
