Jenna Andrews was raised in Mexico Beach, Florida, and has called Panama City home since graduating from Florida State University in 2010. Much of her professional career has been centered in the healthcare industry, primarily in marketing and management roles.

Jenna joined BrightStar Care in 2017 after meeting with their local team and recognizing their genuine passion for the company’s mission to deliver a higher standard of care to an underserved population. She will gladly tell anyone who will listen that joining the BrightStar Care team has been the best personal and professional decision she has made to date. Her time with BrightStar Care has not only provided her with an incredibly dedicated and supportive work family, but also the meaningful opportunity to give back to a community she treasures deeply.

Outside of the office, Jenna enjoys spending as much time as possible on the water. The proximity to the Gulf and the local bays—along with family—are what ultimately drew her back to the Panhandle after college. Having spent many days as a toddler aboard her family’s dive charter boat, she continues to enjoy scuba diving as an adult. It’s not uncommon to find Jenna responding to emails on the weekend while fishing with her husband in St. Joe Bay or relaxing on the beach at Cape San Blas.

Jenna and her husband are also the proud parents of a wonderful son and daughter who keep them on their toes. She believes deeply in finding fulfillment both personally and professionally and credits the natural beauty of the Panhandle, her BrightStar Care team, and the clients they serve as daily sources of inspiration.

Susan is originally from Illinois and began her career as a Registered Nurse, working as an obstetrics staff nurse while earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Olivet Nazarene University. After completing her BSN, she transitioned into the manufacturing industry as an Occupational Health Nurse. During this time, she developed a strong interest in human resources, frequently supporting HR initiatives such as open enrollment, recruitment, and onboarding.

After several years in manufacturing, Susan made a deliberate shift into human resources, taking on roles of increasing responsibility across multiple organizations and states to broaden her expertise. She later earned her master’s degree in Human Resource Management to further strengthen her leadership capabilities.

Prior to joining BrightStar Care, Susan served as the HR Leader for Trane in Panama City, where she supported approximately 900 employees.

Susan is married and enjoys spending time with her four adult children, four grandchildren, and many beloved “fur” grandchildren.  She is also an avid baker and makes wonderful sweet treats!

Toccara is a proud native of Panama City, Florida, and has dedicated over 20 years to serving others in the healthcare field. She joined BrightStar Care in 2014 as a Certified Nursing Assistant, where her compassion and commitment to quality care quickly stood out. Over the years, she has grown within the organization, taking on the role of Administrative Assistant before advancing to her current position as a Customer Care Manager.

Toccara is deeply passionate about helping those in need and finds great fulfillment in building meaningful connections with clients and their families. She takes pride in being part of a team that makes a difference every day and often shares that her BrightStar family is truly one of a kind. Whether it’s bringing comfort, sharing a laugh, or simply brightening someone’s day, Toccara believes the little moments matter most.

Outside of work, Toccara enjoys spending quality time with her family and embracing the things that bring her joy. She loves listening to music, watching Marvel movies, and roller skating—activities that reflect her vibrant, energetic spirit and positive outlook on life.

Chimere joined the BrightStar Care team in 2022, bringing with her a wealth of experience and a genuine passion for serving others. A Panama City, Florida native with strong roots in Alabama, she has dedicated over nine years to the healthcare industry, building a reputation for her compassion, reliability, and commitment to excellence.

Chimere takes great pride in coordinating high-quality, personalized care for each of her clients. She is deeply passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of those she serves and approaches her work with both professionalism and heart. Her dedication and warm, caring nature make her a valued member of the BrightStar team.

Outside of work, Chimere enjoys relaxing with a good movie, indulging in a little online shopping, and—most importantly—spending quality time with her three amazing daughters, who are at the center of her world.

Maurice is originally from Milton, Florida, where his passion for sports began at an early age. That passion carried him through an impressive collegiate basketball career at Pensacola Junior College and The University of West Florida, where he earned All-Conference honors. Following a rewarding time as a student-athlete, Maurice dedicated himself to helping others achieve their goals by coaching basketball and football at his alma mater, Milton High School.

After more than 20 years of playing and coaching, Maurice made the decision to transition from athletics and began a new chapter with Hertz Rent-A-Car. There, his strong work ethic and natural ability to connect with people quickly propelled him into a leadership role. While his time with Hertz came to an unexpected end during the COVID-19 pandemic, it ultimately became a turning point that led him into healthcare recruiting—a path where his strengths truly shine.

Maurice has since had the opportunity to work with several healthcare organizations, but he considers his role with BrightStar Care especially meaningful. He takes pride in being part of a team that connects exceptional healthcare professionals with families in need, making a lasting impact in the community.

Outside of work, Maurice enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Jen, and their family—something he values above all else.
