My caregiver is Aniya. She has been with us since the beginning of the year. She is always on time, always pleasant, and knows exactly how to take care of my husband. We are very pleased with her work and would be heartbroken if we ever lost her .

Sirena is wonderful. She is very experinced and loves what she does. The way she learn my needs and wants makes me so happy. She walks in and knows what to do without being told. Brightstar provided at home care 24/7 for my Father in Law for the last 3 months of his life. My husband and I did not live near him and could not be there to provide the supervision and care he needed. His wishes were to be at home til the end. Brightstar caregivers became his friends when he couldn’t leave the house. They brought him food some days, watched his westerns and basketball games with him, even helped our family throw a surprise party at his house. One caregiver, Ana even stayed with him for 3 days nonstop when the snowstorm came. She was with him when he fell and had to get stitches and again when he passed away. As family members, we always felt heard with our concerns and our questions about how he was doing. My dad recently passed away and, prior to his passing, we did hospice at home. This was our first time navigating these waters and we desperately needed help. In particular, Truman, who came as an overnight nursing aide, was extraordinarily thoughtful and gentle with my father and with us. Bright star has always been good to me. Even when I get a new nurse to help with the infusion, they are always great to be around! I’ve had a couple nurses throughout my time with bright star. I would like to give a shout out to Jackie as she was my nurse for a while now. She always made it super comforting and was actually curious about who you were as a person. It created more of a bond than it was just getting an infusion. Bright star usually is on top of things, meaning they always call checking in and the medicine delivery is never late! I recommend BrightStar 100%.

The staff are responsive and professional with the caring touch that is so helpful when help for a loved one is needed in the home. We find their concern to be genuine and supportive. Everyone from the office staff to the in-home caregivers have been great and willing to help in any way needed.

I wanted to take a moment and thank Teresa Doyle and BrightStar for their invaluable help when my sister fell seriously ill. She had been in the hospital for a month after a serous medical set-back, spent several weeks in rehabilitation and was back to her house at last. We knew that she would need much more help. My sister had long needed more help, but being fiercely independent, she really wanted no part of the attention of the extra care she needed, though she was far from out of the woods. Her issues were chronic and had finally gotten to be just too much, so she allowed us to call in someone to talk to her. Teresa came to the house immediately, actually on a holiday, and met with my sister. By the time she left, she had arranged for around-the-clock in-home help starting the next day as well as a doctor to come to the house to follow up and help figure out a long-term plan. That was much more than we had hoped for and so unusual in an age where getting a call back from a doctor's office at all can take days or weeks. Someone to show up now, when it was needed, and get my sister to agree to help. Well, it was more than we could possibly have expected. Possibly more amazing was that my sister called me that day, after Teresa had left, and called me and told me that she just had such a strong connection. My sister had spent her life in the medical field, developing and implementing plans to help others, but she never wanted help. Her life was led by a strong faith, and Teresa and BrightStar met her at that level and their faith and professionalism got through to her. It meant so much to my sister, and it meant the world to us. We are very grateful. Thank you.
