A Message from the Owner
Recently I lost the last two of my grandparents. Going through the process of watching our family struggle with the decision making associated with and the limited options for in-home care was an incredible learning experience.I wanted to improve that process. Bright Star Care has allowed me to do that. Our mission is to provide the highest quality care to our clients and give peace of mind to families in need of specialized care for just about any situation imaginable. When we take on a client, we consider the needs of the entire family. Whether it’s caring for an aging loved one or a child, we take a holistic approach to make the situation less overwhelming for the entire family.
We are originally from Bellevue, Washington, most recently we have relocated to Eugene from Southern California where I worked in the healthcare field as a senior executive since 2000. I served in various hospital administration positions, mentoring programs, commercial construction projects and organizational redesigns. I opted to return to the Northwest with my husband Mark as a better fit for our three children, to be closer to family, as well as to start a new business that would give back to the community.
We now are fulfilling our dreams of making a difference in the lives of residents in Eugene and Lane County by opening a BrightStar Care in-home care agency. This business provides a range of compassionate, person-centered medical and non-medical care to people of all ages, from infants to seniors.
