What is Memorial Day?
Memorial Day stands as a solemn and significant day of remembrance, dedicated to honoring the men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation. This day is not merely a long weekend marking the unofficial start of summer; it is a profound reminder of the cost of freedom and the valor of those who have given their lives to protect it. By commemorating Memorial Day, we pay homage to the bravery and selflessness of our fallen heroes, ensuring their sacrifices are never forgotten. This day encourages us to reflect on the values and principles these individuals fought to defend, reinforcing our collective commitment to the ideals of liberty and justice.
