Sleep Apnea and the Willamsburg Senior

Sleep apnea is a sleeping disorder in which a Williamsburg senior’s lungs are not getting as much oxygen as they should be while sleeping. This results in not having a deep, healthy night’s sleep, and they may feel tired and low energy the next day. A bad turn in health such as: high blood pressure, depression, headaches, diabetes, and several other health issues may occur. Not only is a senior’s physical health at risk with sleep apnea, but their emotional health as well. Socializing becomes difficult, and driving can become a dangerous task.
