March 3rd was Employee Appreciation Day and we here at BrightStar Care of Valparaiso went about the day like business as usual because WE APPRECIATE OUR EMPLOYEES EVERY DAY! We may occasionally neglect to tell them directly, but it is always in our minds. They really are what keeps BrightStar Care soaring above the rest of the homecare competition! Our Valparaiso office has been and will continue to strive to express our gratitude to our staff more often than usual this year, reaching out in various ways. This year saw our first employee raffle drawing taking place in March with three caregivers and two nurses winning gift card prizes ranging from $25 to $100. We posted individual shout outs to each winner on our Facebook page! That same week also saw ALL staff recieving a $100 bonus just for being a part of our team, so really everyone was a winner! Everyone has also been invited to stop by the office to claim a spring surpise gift! And we have no plans to stop there! Another raffle is in the works for June, with staff already earning extra entries! Various other gifts will be available for pick up throughout the year and a few other things are headed their way (I don't want to spill the beans too early and ruin the suprise)!
