Wayne, PA - BrightStar Care of The Main Line announces the appointment of Dr. Sallie Stadlen to the Board of Directors of the Wayne Senior Center. Since 1975, the Wayne Senior Center has provided community, friendship and resources which enriches the lives of older adults in its community. The Wayne Senior Center is a friendly, welcoming, upbeat place with a state- of -the- art fitness center, and a large, diverse variety of programing that nurtures the interests and needs of the vital independent people who come through the center’s doors.
In her medical practice, Dr. Stadlen identified a great need for high quality home care. Helping seniors age in place, decreasing falls and hospital readmissions, and providing medication management for individuals who would benefit from medication oversight, was a natural evolution of her clinical practice. Together with her husband, Dr. Eric Schwartz, Dr. Stadlen opened BrightStar Care of The Main Line. With BrightStar Care they bring the highest standard of care (Companion Care, Personal Care, Transitional Care, and Skilled Care), to the community and residents Dr. Stadlen has served for more than 20 years.
