This past Friday, BrightStar staff gathered at the Wayne Gallagher American Legion. Their mission? Bringing a little Christmas cheer to troops serving overseas this summer! As the staff members assembled Christmas-in-July care packages, they were joined by Phil Sellers, a service member from Horsham. Together, they packed over 75 care packages with classic American treats, Girl Scout cookies, card games and more. The event was a collaboration between BrightStar and the United Service Organization, a nonprofit providing members of the United States Armed Forces with goodies, entertainment, and events since its conception in 1941. The care packages will be sent to servicemen and women all over the world, expressing our gratitude for their service and bringing a little ‘Christmas’ cheer!
