Kehana Labaze
Regional Branch ManagerKehana serves as the Regional Branch Manager for BrightStar Care, overseeing operations across multiple locations with a focus on delivering exceptional client experiences and fostering a supportive environment for the care team. With over 6 years of experience in healthcare and people relations, Kehana excels at streamlining processes, building strong client relationships, and ensuring the highest standards of service.
Kehana is passionate about process improvement and making the workplace more efficient for those looking for opportunities to be the best versions of themselves.
A graduate of Industrial Organizational Psychology from West Chester University of Pennsylvania, Kehana brings a combination of strategic thinking and hands-on experience to the role. Outside of work, she enjoys the gym, mindfulness practices, and study sessions at aesthetically pleasing coffee shops.

Michelle Lanier
Director of NursingMichelle Lanier, RN, brings nearly two decades of diverse nursing experience to her role as Director of Nursing at BrightStar Care of Allentown. Her extensive background spans critical care, medical-surgical nursing, and in-home healthcare, reflecting her commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality care tailored to each patient's needs.
Michelle began her healthcare journey in 1996 as an EMT and board member for the Port Jefferson Volunteer Ambulance, fostering her dedication to community service and emergency response. She continued to build her expertise at JT Mather Memorial Hospital, where she worked in medical-surgical renal care, diabetic management, and surgical post-op recovery from 2000 to 2004.
Her passion for in-home healthcare flourished during her time with Bayada Home Care in Bethlehem, where she supported long-term acute care patients. Additionally, her role as an RN local traveler for Caregivers America (2009-2011) gave her critical exposure to a variety of hospital environments, including Palmerton Hospital, Gnadenhutten Hospital, and Easton Hospital.
At Easton Hospital, Michelle served as a Charge Nurse, Preceptor, and member of the Critical Care Float team for more than a decade, overseeing complex care environments and mentoring new nurses. She has also developed specialized skills in peritoneal dialysis, ventilator care, PICC line insertion, and wound management, among other advanced nursing practices.
Michelle holds an Associate of Science in Nursing from Suffolk County Community College and an AA in Fine Art and Liberal Arts from Suffolk Community College. Her holistic approach to care combines technical expertise with an artistic eye for personalized, empathetic service.
As Director of Nursing, Michelle is dedicated to leading her team with integrity, fostering collaboration, and ensuring every BrightStar Care client receives the exceptional care they deserve.

Chirag Modi
Agency OwnerChirag grew up in India and did undergrad in Manufacturing Engineering before deciding to come to USA in 2001. After two more Masters degrees (Engineering and MBA), Chirag decided to open his first business venture; a franchise Hair Salon (Great Clips). After 25+ years of a successful corporate career and 10+ years of operating 3 successful Great Clips hair salons, Chirag decided to venture into Home Health Care. Chirag and wife Amisha have two lovely daughters (Vanita, 15, is a junior in high school and Shreya, 12 is a 7th grader) and live in Downingtown, PA.
When asking Chirag why he chose BrightStar Care, he responded “For the last 25 years as an engineer, I have worked in factories and warehouses to replace humans with automation. I did all of this work across the globe, in 15 countries. At this point in my life I feel like I need to be connected to the communities. I want to make an impact in this community and one way to do that is to create more jobs locally. BrightStar Care is a Great brand which has been in the local communities for a long time to serve the needs of seniors, pediatric care and other medical needs”.
Beyond managing his two businesses, Chirag in his spare time spends time either outdoor or reading books or meeting friends and family across the globe.

Dale Wilson
Community LiaisonDale Wilson is the community liaison. He has been in that role since July 2021, and has been in the senior living health and wellness industry for nearly seven years. He began his tenure in senior living as the executive director at Spring Village at Pocono in East Stroudsburg, PA. He then transitioned into a sales and marketing role at a personal care home exclusively dedicated to memory care, Spring Village at Floral Vale, in Yardley, PA. He later became an outreach coordinator for SeniorLIFE Lehigh Valley, which is where he was introduced to BrightStar Care of Stroudsburg and Allentown, as they were a partnered provider for SeniorLIFE. It was from his relationship with BrightStar Care of Stroudsburg and Allentown during his tenure at SeniorLIFE where he ultimately found his place with us as our community liaison. Dale quickly became widely known and well-connected in the greater Lehigh Valley and Monroe County region. Dale is a past member of the board of directors of Lehigh Valley Aging In Place and is quite active with their organization. He is also a member of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce’s healthcare committee and is also an Ambassador on The Chamber’s Ambassador Council. Dale is also the vice president and co-founder of The Greater Lehigh Valley Healthcare Alliance. In Monroe County, he is presently assisting a group of professionals in the aging in place space to organize a new coalition of healthcare partners and community resources to form the Pocono Area Senior Alliance, which is being created to serve seniors that need various resources in that area. Before his entry into the senior living industry, Dale has over 25 years of experience across various industries, including work in industrial valves, liquefied industrial gases, and business refreshment services.

Earlier in her career, she gained valuable experience as a Registration Representative at Pocono Medical Center, excelling in patient registration, insurance verification, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Deborah’s operational expertise, commitment to the BrightStar Care mission, and focus on client satisfaction make her an invaluable part of the team. Outside of work, Deborah enjoys relaxing with her family and exploring new ways to give back to her community.

Office CoordinatorSarah Counterman is the Office Coordinator at BrightStar Care, where she serves as the cornerstone of the office team, ensuring that daily operations run seamlessly.
