Chris holds a Ph. D. from Arizona State University in Justice Studies and he also holds a Law Degree. He is deeply committed to the study of justice and has a passion for creating a just society for all. Chris came to BrightStar Care after a very successful career in higher education teaching and administration. His journey to Health Care is primarily predicted upon his desire to create a service to families deeply committed to excellence at every level with great attention to the details.

Julie brings to BrightStar Care a career deeply grounded in serving the needs of others. She holds a Masters in Social Work from Arizona State University and is a native of Central Illinois. Julie has worked extensively with families and has an unyielding commitment to serving others. She has 20 plus years of experience in case management along with individual and family counseling.

Lynne has been a Nurse for more than 40 years.  She received her Associate in Nursing Science from Beleville Area College, her BSN from Sangamon State University (now University of Illinois at Springfield), and her Masters in Nursing Science (FNP) from Southern Illinois University. She served in the U.S. Navy Reserve Nurse Corps for 3 years.  She is Certified in College Health Nursing and a founding member of Sigma Theta Tau, Nu Pi Chapter, an honor society for nurses. Her experiences have been in Medical Surgical care, Transitional Care, Psychiatric Care, Communicable Diseases and issues of Public Health and she has served on national committees for professional organizations for Immunizations and Infectious Disease.  She also directed an outpatient health clinic coordinating care with physicians, nurses and other staff members.

Lynne is strongly motivated to provide the best possible personal care for our clients, to get to know them, and to learn and understand what is most important in their lives and their care needs.  She brings excellent communication skills and knowledge in the provision of care for our clients.  Her goal is to work with staff, assist them in continuing to expand their skills and knowledge and helping them to understand their clients better.  She is committed to excellence in care and earning the trust of clients and working with our team in the provision of that care.

Christina holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Illinois Springfield and has 25 years’ experience in Higher Education. While at UIS, she is committed to making a difference in the lives of students. Transitioning to health care is a natural fit, Christina, can now make a difference in the lives of people of all ages.  Christina has two sons and a very special first grandchild, Parker, who is three years old.  She enjoys boating and being outdoors. She is passionate about quality care and is committed to making BrightStar Care your choice for health care.

Kelli comes to BrightStar Care from a career in child development. She has worked extensively with children over the last several years culminating in directing the TippyToes Child Development Center. Kelli also brings great enthusiasm to this profession as she views serving our clients as a personal vocation.
