    Director of Nursing

    Hi, I am Michelle Cosgrove, the Director of Nursing for BrightStar Care of Scott/Carver Counties. I enteres the world of home care in 2012 and quickly fell in love. In 2021 I joined our BrightStar team and am thankful everyday to work with such a caring, supportive group of professionals. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our two daughters, and our rescue pup, Roman. We love spending warm sunny days outdoors and cold winter months at the hockey rink.

    Senior Customer Care Manager
    Hello! My name is Alysha, I am the Senior Customer Care Manager here at BrightStar Care of Scott and Carver Counties. I started working in healthcare when I was 16 as a CNA and have been with the Brightstar Franchise since 2020. Being that I started as a CNA quality care is very important to me and since joining the Scott and Carver team (2022) I have been given many opportunities to learn, grow and help even more families than I thought was possible while still maintaining quality. Outside of work I enjoy gardening, hiking, and music as well as spending time with my significant other, Tab, and my pup, Steve!

    Hey, my name is Ashlynn, I am the Customer Care Manager here at BrightStar Care of Scott and Carver Counties. I started in the Healthcare field in 2017 as a Home Health Aide and have been with the BrightStar Care Francise since 2021. Throughout my BrightStar Career I have been in quite a few different positions, so far, my favorite role has been Customer Care Manager because I am able to help more people in need. I am proud to contribute to the impactful work we do here at BrightStar Care of Scott and Carver Counties. Outside of work, I spend time with my son, who keeps me busy!

    Hello, My name is Brian, I am the recruiter for BrightStar Care of Scott and Carver Counties.  I have worked in healthcare for many years now.  I remember when I got into the healthcare field looking to help out and make a difference.  That is what I have been able to do here every single day.  Being able to work with others that have a passion for helping people that need help has made every day a success.  It's good to know that even on the challenging days that we make a difference for our clients and their families.  Outside of work I like to play softball, golf and dance with my family.

    Lead CNA

    Hello! My name is Mallory, I'm the Lead CNA here at BrightStar Care of Scott and Carver Counties. My role on the team is to help in a pinch - I go all over our service area assisting with training new caregivers and filling in last minute if needed. I started working in health care when I was 18 as a CNA and have been with the BrightStar Franchise since 2021. I have worked various different shifts and roles over the years in healthcare and providing personalized care for others has been the best job I could as for. Outside of work, I enjoy playing volleyball, hiking, and music, as well as spending time with my husband, Connor.

    Hello! My name is April, I am the Senior RN Care Manager here at BrightStar Care of Scott and Carver Counties. I have been a registered nurse for 17 years and have spent the last 15 of those years in Home care!  I love being able to provide care to patients in their home and help them remain as independent as possible. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family, gardening and being out on the lake.

    My name is Alyssa and I'm one of the RN case managers. I started with BrightStar Care of Scott and Carver Counties in 2019. I enjoy working in homecare because of the close relationships we form with our clients. Outside of work, I'm usually chasing after my son or rambunctious dog!

  • Abby Johnson

    RN Case Manager
    Hi there! My name is Abby, I have been an RN/Case Manager for BrightStar care since 2021. My previous 8 years of RN experience was primarily spent in the Inpatient Mental Health units at Regions Hospital. Although I was very passionate about my career in mental health, I have very much enjoyed the relationships and variety of cares I have been able to provide to my clients in home care as well. My husband, Taylor and I have three very energetic, sweet and funny boys--Everett (9), Easton (6) and Ellis (2.5). We enjoy camping, sports, cooking, anything involving water and family time. Needless to say, I love the flexibility and independence home care nursing has offered! BrightStar is truly built up of people that invest their hearts in the care that they provide for their clients each and every day. I am so proud to be a part of this amazing team!
