I was nervous about bringing in a caregiver. Worried we wouldn't connect or feel comfortable. Worried about reliability. Ashley is our first caregiver and has been with us for six months. She is caring and professional. She walked with us through my mom's hospice journey, easing the way and teaching me proper techniques. She's self-motivated, does what needs doing, and makes appropriate suggestions. She's amazing and we feel very fortunate.

Our Aide Rachel was absolutely AMAZING! My father enjoyed her company! The bond they created was one of a kind! He thoroughly enjoyed her visits! Also, Our nurse April was very caring and always made sure dad was getting the necessary cares! Thank you BrightStar staff!!!! ❤️

Olga always does a fabulous job. She’s always on time. She’s very polite and never leaves until everything I want is done. I also want to mention that Megan does a fabulous job

My husband and I have been doing most of the health care for my father in law for quite awhile when we decided we needed help. The VA put us in touch with Brightstar, and they have truly been a life saver for us and my father in law. Mary V, his aide, is wonderful and definitely knows how to do her job well and knows how to work with him. April J his nurse has more than once gone above the call of duty, she truly is amazing and we are so appreciative of her. Alysha and Alysa are other people we have worked with and honestly Brightstar has the most amazing staff and we are grateful for each one of them.

Brightstar Scott and Carver County has been an integral part of my father’s care for some time and has improved his quality of life tremendously as he battles with the difficulties of his ongoing dementia and frailty. His caregiver, Angela,has been amazing and second to none when it comes to caring for his daily needs. She goes above and beyond what is necessary and never ceases to find special ways to be of help, from preparing breakfast, tidying up, assisting with laundry and genuinely caring for Dad as a person. He has some very difficult care needs and she cheerfully performs them and is very observant to any changes or concerns that need to be addressed. We cannot say enough or thank her enough for being the kind and supportive CAREgiver that she is!

My partner is a disabled veteran. The VA connected us with BrightStar Care. I have had some amazing caregivers help to care for my partner. Abby is our nurse and she is so caring and helpful. She helps manage meds and has been great with advise and help. She is flexible and we work with each others schedules which is most helpful. Michelle is his physical therapist and she comes to us with much experience. She has an amazing exercise routine for him and also speaks with the other caregivers so they are all on the same page. Mallory fills in when Ben's caregiver is off and she has done a wonderful job for us as well. She has helped my partner to organize his area and helps with many daily chores. Annette is our newest addition and she is an occupational therapist. She is amazing to work with and helps Ben with his challenges for his illness. Finally Golda was his initial caregiver and was helpful with him as far as walking and exercising as well as organizing his things. All in all we are very satisfied with the caregivers and therapists that have worked with him. This type of care helps his quality of life improve!

Ahna is our Home Health Aide, and we are so glad that she is. She is always respectful, helpful and caring. She gives Don wonderful attention and assistance, and she assists me in many ways as well. She is pleasant and upbeat, with a smile and good word always.
