Christine & Brian O'Keefe, are the owners of BrightStar Care of San Francisc.  Chris discovered first hand the challenges of finding high-quality reliable care and decided to purchase the San Francisco / Marin County office of BrightStar Care. Together with her team, Chris is pursuing her passion of serving the community through volunteer efforts and the services offered by BrightStar Care. “I consider myself very fortunate to work side-by-side with a truly compassionate team of professionals who are committed to providing quality home care.”



Brian and Chris have been residents of Mill Valley for over 15 years. They are active members of the Mill Valley community. You will often see them on the sidelines, coaching games, volunteering at school or organizing a Boy Scout campout. Family is incredibly important to both of them. They have four children ranging in age from 8 to 18. "We are committed to providing the highest standard of care in the home. Your family is our family."

Chris is a former Registered Nurse and has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry. She began her career working as a nurse in the hospital setting in multiple areas including orthopedics, the recovery room and in ambulatory care surgery. She continued her career working for the United States Army as a civilian nurse in Germany. After a 3 year stay in Europe, Chris returned to the States to work in the Trauma / Critical Care Department as a research nurse in Milwaukee, WI. Chris then transitioned into the pharmaceutical industry, auditing clinical trials in hospitals, ensuring that protocols were being followed correctly by medical staff. Chris earned a Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree from Marquette University. 

A seasoned professional, Brian has over 15 years of experience with venture capital investments in Silicon Valley and as technology CEO. Brian has a deep knowledge  in financing, mergers and acquisitions and operational excellence having served as an operator within medical, marketing and advertising technology companies at an executive level. Brian earned an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business with concentrations in Finance and Economics, an undergraduate degree in Biomechanics with minors in Mathematics and Mechanical Engineering from Marquette University, and served as an Armor Officer in the US Army stationed in Germany and Bosnia-Herzegovina. Brian is a member of Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), Northern California Chapter and is a member of the Inside Circle Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to the inner personal growth of incarcerated men in prison.
