BrightStar Dementia Care in Salt Lake City Areas
BrightStar Care of Salt Lake City is the leading provider of Dementia Care in the home and one on one in facilities in Utah. We have better trained staff and leadership than all other private duty agency providers. Here is just a sample of what we already do and what will have available to all staff by end of 2018.
BrightStar Care Connections Training: Four hours of dementia training for all home care staff.
BrightStar Care Connections Program: For families of dementia clients. Includes profile to be filled out for caregiver reference plus lots of resources for care of family members who are living with dementia.
Caregiver Activities Bags: These bags are in the supply room and may be checked out to any caregiver caring for a dementia client. The bag includes puzzles, art supplies, lists of possible activities, games, etc.
Dementia Dialogues Training: Deborah is now a certified trainer. This training will be offered to the caregivers and others in the community. For staff who want to join, times, dates and locations will be made available.
