Founders of BrightStar Care of Fairfax, Reston, McLean, Arlington/Alexandria, Lynchburg, and Roanoke, Virginia.

As a Lynchburg native, Jenifer values the sense of community for our staff and our clients. She was a counselor for runaways and youths in crisis prior to raising three children. Over the years, she has provided care for aging and terminally ill family members.  In 2021, Jenifer was diagnosed with colorectal cancer and knows firsthand the benefit of exceptional home care. The relationship between the client, caregivers, and nurses in the midst of pain and uncertainty makes the unbearable bearable. Jenifer is excited to be a part of BrightStar Care of Lynchburg and bringing the highest standard of care to her community!

 

With over 17 years of experience in the Army and a nursing school graduate, Tamie has dedicated her life to serving others through healthcare. Her passion for nursing has led her to specialize in NICU and home health, where she has made a positive impact on countless patients and families. Outside of work, Tamie loves hiking and music, and is a proud mother of two. Her daughter Aliana is in her fourth year at UVA, pre-med, while her son Luke will be transferring to VA Tech in the spring for Computer Engineering.

Patrick decided the tremendous growth in the home care field was a real opportunity to learn and do well by doing good. He has been with BrightStar Care of Fairfax since 2014.  As the Skilled Manager, he gets a flexible schedule and a first-hand view of how a home care business meets the needs of the community. In this role, Patrick works with insurance companies and helps to ensure that the over 10,000 baby boomers turning 65 each year get the opportunity to age in place safely, and stay in their home for as long as they would like.

Robert has been with BrightStar Care of Fairfax since it opened in 2012.  As the HR manager, he handles all new caregiver orientations. Robert has the privilege of speaking with people daily to evaluate their needs and expectations.  He loves his job because he get to interact with clients and their families to ensure the highest standard of care.

With over five years of experience in the healthcare field, Haseena brings a diverse background in operations, human resources, recruiting, talent management, and marketing. A graduate of George Mason University with a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, focusing on Health Systems Management, Haseena has developed a well-rounded expertise in healthcare operations. In the homecare industry, Haseena has primarily focused on HR, recruiting, talent management, and marketing efforts to build and maintain a dedicated team of professionals. She is passionate about healthcare due to years of volunteer work in high school, where they engaged with people of all ages, from children to seniors. This experience solidified their decision to pursue a career dedicated to improving the lives of others. Outside of work, Haseena enjoys crafting and DIY projects, spending time outdoors, watching movies, cooking, and relaxing with their beloved cat, Simba.

Nora has been with BrightStar Care of Fairfax since 2019 and truly loves what she does. She believes we all have gifts and talents in specific areas and it’s important to recognize those strengths. Nora can tell that the part she plays, while not directly working with clients, makes a difference.  The more she understands our clients and caregivers, the better she can do her job!  Nora enjoys being able to handle billing issues for our clients and, hopefully, giving them one less thing to worry about.  She understands the frustration of dealing with insurance carriers, long term care policies, and financial issues in general.  If she can help make certain that our billing is done accurately and invoices are being sent to insurance companies correctly, that’s more time they can spend focusing on themselves or their loved ones. 

Donna has been with BrightStar Care of Fairfax since 2020. Working for a home care agency, she sees firsthand how important the caregiver/client relationship can be. With 15 years of experience in Home Care, Lori has transitioned from dental assistant to Care Coordinator to Office Manager. Lori is leading us to deliver exceptional services in the Roanoke In Lori's free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, but her grandchildren are where her heart is most happy. Cayden, Kensie and Ryland keep her young at heart.
