My son and I are fairly new with brightstar but so far im so happy with how it’s going. Nurse Laura is amazing. We had a rough start on our first day with the IV because he was a hard stick, but nurse Laura was patient and so kind and tried to resolve the issue in any way she could. And she’s so loving and caring with my son and gets him goodies so he can get comfortable with her. Thank you nurse Laura !

This was my mother’s first home infusion experience with BrightStar, and naturally, she was very nervous—not just about the infusion itself, but also due to the emotional trauma she had experienced from previous hospitalizations. Despite trying her best to remain open-minded, those past memories weighed heavily on her.
From the moment Nurse Laura Pearson walked through the door, everything began to change.
Laura was warm, compassionate, and incredibly reassuring. She spoke to my mother with such kindness and clarity, encouraging her to trust the process and, more importantly, to trust her. She was gentle and respectful every step of the way—always attentive, detail-oriented, and cautious with my mother’s health. Her organization and cleanliness were also impressive and brought a sense of peace into what could have been a very stressful situation.
We were able to build a strong rapport almost immediately. It felt less like meeting a healthcare professional and more like reconnecting with someone we’ve known for a long time. On the second day of infusion, while my mother was still somewhat anxious, she recognized the sincere care and empathy that Laura brought into her work. That sincerity made a lasting impact.
Because of Nurse Laura, we now feel hopeful and comforted about the future infusions ahead. She didn’t just provide excellent clinical care—she helped restore our confidence in the process and reminded us what compassionate nursing truly looks like.
We are beyond pleased and incredibly grateful to have Laura Pearson as our nurse.

We are so incredibly grateful to have Bright Star in our lives. The entire team is filled with genuinely kind and caring people who are truly invested in helping our son. Every person we've encountered has been amazing, and we especially want to highlight a few of them.
Zack, who primarily works in the office, occasionally comes out to train new staff or cover shifts. Our son adores him! They have their own little inside jokes and music, and after one visit, our son even insisted on calling everyone Zack for a short period of time.
Our schedulers, Deedee and Angelica, always go out of their way to keep us informed and are a true pleasure to work with. They are collaborative partners in our son's care, and we can always count on them to work with us to find the best solutions.
Jackie is our son's main caregiver, and she has the perfect balance of firmness and nurturing. She knows exactly how to get him to do his exercises and physical therapy without him even realizing it's work. I have a hard time getting him to go for a walk in his wheelchair, but I was amazed to find out Jackie has him walking around the block with his walker once a day. On the days she isn't here, he's always saying he wishes Jackie was here to take him for a walk!
Maggie also filled in for a short period and was equally wonderful, bringing that same perfect balance of nurture and firmness—it felt like having a favorite auntie come to visit.
Finally, Javon in the billing department has been absolutely amazing. As we transitioned between multiple payment sources for our son's care, he was compassionate, thorough, and always followed up to ensure everything was handled correctly.
Thank you to the entire Bright Star team for everything you do.

BrightStar Care has been a wonderful help for my dad. Nurse Laura is always kind, attentive, and keeps us updated on every visit. John, the physical therapist, hasn’t started a full exercise program yet, but he has already done a careful assessment and suggested useful safety items for my dad’s showers and daily routine. Their professionalism and genuine concern give our family real peace of mind. We’re very grateful for both Nurse Laura and John PT, and we highly recommend BrightStar Care!

Nurse Janine has been by my side for nearly 5 years, and words can hardly express how grateful I am for her presence in my life. She is so much more than a nurse - she’s become a trusted friend and constant source of support.
From day one, Janine has provided skilled, compassionate care. Whether it’s administering treatments or checking in during difficult weeks, she always shows up with kindness, respect, and a calm that puts me at ease. Her encouragement to balance short-term discomfort with long-term health benefits, has been instrumental in helping me.
Janine is truly one of a kind. Her knowledge, compassion, and steady presence have made her the only nurse I want to work with. I am so thankful for everything she’s done and continues to do.

I have had the pleasure of working with ten Bright Star nurses, however Laura has been the most helpful encouraging and sensitive me. I wasn’t just another patient. She literally saved my life. Because of her knowledge and expertise she quickly took my blood oxygen to find that my reading was at 64. Immediately told my husband to call 911 for ambulance. I was taken to Santa Paula Hospital where I was intubated then transferred to LosRobles Regional Medical Center where I received excellent care. Then transferred to Alta Rehabilitation Center, where I had physical therapy occupational therapy and speech therapy. The reason I mention all of this about me is because if Laura had not used her training experience and knowledge I would have died. Laura is an angel who cares about each and everyone of her patients. Each one of us is special to her

My moms is a double amputee, no legs severed at the hip. She additionally suffers from arthritis. chronic infections, mobility issues and inability to perform basic activities of daily living that most take for granted. Thankfully she has a live-in caretaker thru IHHS, otherwise she would likelly require 24/7 hospice care. But what happens when her caretaker is unavailable or needs time off? She recently requested about a week off and that is when I had my first experience with Brightstar Care.
The date drew closer when her caretaker would be leaving and we were not coming up with any solutions and could not find a short-term person to fill in. Anxiety and stress was increasing but then I found Brightstar Care who was willing to contract for that short-term one week basis. This was truly difficult need to fill as most providers want a longer term contract. But Brightstar was able to be flexible on the length of time. They additionally provided an in-home Nurse Assessment and developed a plan of care specific to my mom's situation. Through every aspect of care they were courteous, professional, and compassionate.
So, thank you Heather, thank you Nurse Jeanine,Thank you Elena.... thank you to the entire Brightstar Care team for meeting this need and for treating my family as a long-term customer you truly cared about rather than someone you knew would be here today and gone tomorrow. I highly recommend this agency for their flexibility, professionalism, and ability to meet patients specific to their needs. I have great peace of mind also knowing where to go should this need ever arise again. Much gratitude to all of you and anyone in a similar circumstance I would encourage you to give them a look.
I have had a lot of trouble coordinating pharmacies and nursing care for my PICC line. I even had one nurse who ignored my concerns and practiced zero sterile technique when changing my dressing. Nurse Laura has been the opposite. She is so careful and so committed to providing the best care possible. She has been researching and trying different creative solutions to a recurrent problem that she is determined to resolve. And she has a great bedside manner, so friendly while she works. She is just the sort of person you would want to take care of you.

Laura was my nurse during my "Be The Match" injections process and I couldn't have asked for a more considerate sweet person! She was had great communication, always on time and really cared about me and who I am. Laura loved on my kitties and greeted them every time she entered my home which means a lot to me. Today was my last at home injection and she showed up with flowers and a sweet card that made me cry, and yes we hugged it out! GIVE THIS WOMAN A RAISE!
