So fortunate to be able to contact Suzette at any time to update issues, change work dates due to vacation or dr apts. Suzette always remains positive and always responds in a timely manor.

Bright star caregivers are for the most part, very caring and attentive, and quick to respond when there are issues. Caregiver’s we have worked with both Ilda and Suzette have been extremely helpful with helping us. Keep mom in her home. Also, she can at times be difficult, and they are very experienced to know how to handle those situations.

Our family was in need of immediate care for a Covid positive person being discharged from the hospital. No assisted care facility or other home health agency would consider helping with the situation. Ida immediately said she could help and located a provider who was in the home within 24 hrs. This gave us much relief as we do not live nearby and couldn’t physically be present. Kenzie has now been coming on a regular basis for 4 months She is professional, accommodating and very caring. We are able to talk with her about any new issues. We are very happy with the service BrightStar has provided for our family.

It was when our father's health was declining, that we contacted Bright Star. Ilda came to our home and met with the family to discuss our needs and learn how she and her crew could assist. With Dad needing 24-hour care immediately, it was difficult to fill the evening shifts. It was Ilda and Victoria who willing worked the long night hours, later moving into day shifts as well. Ilda and Victoria transitioned easily into their shifts. Their care for Dad was professional and compassionate. They were gentle and loving while they performed the necessary duties. They spoke to Dad gently and were so respectful of his wishes. There were many professionals that cared for Dad during his illness. Some helpers had been working with Dad for nearly two years. When Bright Star joined Dad's team, it was the long term help that commented how wonderful Ilda and Victoria were with Dad, how they were so knowledgeable with their craft, and were eager to share their talents with others. It was Ilda who woke me up early one morning to alert me that Dad's breathing had changed. It was her skill and knowledge of hospice care, and the signs of death, that allowed me to hold dad's hand and be with him when he took his last breath. She truly was an angel in the room. I give Bright Star a five-star rating. I would recommend them highly for your health care needs.

Just this past week I needed some personal assistance for a family member in Oshkosh,WI. It was my good fortune that the first call I made was to BrightStar of Oshkosh/Fond du Lac. On very short notice they were able to accommodate our needs even though I did have to make some schedule changes at times.
