  • Brian Silven

    President and Owner
    With a background in microbiology and genetic sequencing, Brian's early career planted the seeds for a lifelong passion of helping others. Fueled by his dedication to improving lives, he embarked on a mission to provide his community with unparalleled nurse-led home care.  In 2015, Brian established BrightStar Care of Norwood, a culmination of his career in health care, business savvy and a steadfast commitment to improving the lives of people in his community.
     
    Recognizing the importance of quality and patient-centered care, Brian set his sights on voluntary accreditation. Driven by a commitment to excellence, BrightStar Care of Norwood achieved accreditation by The Joint Commission, the nation's gold standard in healthcare quality.
     
    Together, Brian and his team aim to redefine the concept of homecare. By placing an emphasis on quality care, clinical leadership, and trust, they push beyond the ordinary to accommodate the unique needs and desires of each client. With BrightStar Care of Norwood, families can find comfort in knowing their loved ones are in the hands of compassionate professionals devoted to their well-being.

  • Kim Graves

    Branch Manager

    Kim is a seasoned professional in the healthcare industry, boasting an impressive 28-year track record. Bringing her expertise and passion to Brightstar of Norwood since 2021, Kim is an advocate for our clients finding solutions to suite their needs with an efficiency Henry Ford would envy. 
     
    Kim's devotion to ensuring the well-being of our clients knows no bounds. Knowing that our clients are safe and receiving the necessary support in the comfort of their own homes is what keeps Kim motivated and driven at work.
     
    Outside of her successful career, Kim holds her proudest accomplishment dear to her heart - her daughter, Morgan, who embarks on her college journey this year. As for her own joy, golfing takes the spotlight. Inspired by renowned golfer Zach Johnson, Kim dreams of teeing off at St. Augustine and the Augusta National Golf Club.
     

  • Sydney Roos

    Director of Nursing
    Sydney Roos RN is a graduate of Becker College.  Some notable moments in her career include working in the ICU and managing programs such as the Guardian Program at Medstar, and helping establish an urgent care facility at John's Hopkins for chronically complex cases.
     
    Sydney's commitment to patient well-being is unwavering, and she will not tolerate apathy from healthcare professionals under her leadership. Her passion for advocating women's health care shines through, but she treats all her patients with the utmost care and attention they deserve.
     
    When she's not saving lives and leading medical programs, Sydney indulges in her passion as an equestrianism and swimmer. She even coaches a swim team, sharing her expertise and helping others achieve their goals.
