I’ve had an incredible experience working at BrightStar Care. From day one, I’ve felt supported by the entire Northbrook team. The leadership genuinely cares about employee wellbeing, and they go out of their way to ensure we’re equipped to provide the best care possible. The training is thorough, and any time I’ve needed assistance or guidance, there’s always someone available to help. Toni and Aba are always available to answer questions, provide encouragement, or a good laugh. What I appreciate most is the flexibility and understanding with scheduling, which allows for a good work-life balance—something that can be hard to find in healthcare. Plus, the positive feedback we get from clients and their families makes the work incredibly rewarding. Working here has truly been a fulfilling experience, and I’m grateful to be part of such a compassionate team!

Unexpectedly, I needed caregiver help on a short term basis, and with little advance notice to BrightStar Care. The staff came through efficiently and timely, and paired me up with a wonderful caregiver, Joann. Joann has been perfect for me-- totally professional, with a kind, thoughtful and convivial approach. I couldn't be more pleased. Thank you BrightStar, and thank you, Joann!

My 97 year old father has been expertly taken care of by BrightStar team member, Garvis. Garvis is not only reliable, responsible and caring but the perfect personality match for my father. My father actually looks forward to his time with Garvis and I have the confidence my father is getting the best care. Thank you BrightStar!

Brightstar Northbrook IL has been excellent. They have professional , trained Caregivers that provide excellent companionship for my wife. They are trustworthy and Friendly We have had 2 Caregivers , both named Tatyanna and they have both been great. The office staff at Northbrook has been very helpful and through. I recommend highly.

I would like to nominate Garbis. Garbis takes wonderful care of my 96 year old father. He is gentle and upbeat, which keeps my dad socially and mentally stimulated. Garbis is punctual, flexible, proactive (did the laundry without being asked) and has a welcoming, warm personality. He supports my father's daily living: getting out of bed, washing up, toileting, showering and meals. He also oversees my father's exercises and safe walking. Bright Star Care and its caregivers are the most wonderful people you could ever imagine. When my father needed 24 hour care, I called four companies on a Saturday and was actually able to speak to Irvin who was kind, caring, and compassionate. Sweet Ashly Houston assured me she would be able to find the perfect caregivers for us. And she was absolutely right. Even though my mother was worried about having a “stranger” in her home especially while she slept, we knew immediately that our caregivers were more than special. Rachael Ezeani, Denise Stephenson, and Sheron August were like angels sent to our family. Along with quality physical care, these three sang hymns with my father, prayed with him and over him, and read scripture to him in those most difficult last days. They encouraged our family as well. I can’t say enough about how amazing they were! We were so blessed to have Rachel, Denise, and Sheron. It was hard to say “Good-bye” to them when my father passed away, but we will always remember their kindness. Thank you Bright Star Care for going over and above for our family. ❤️
