September is Woman's Health Awareness Month and The FDA Has A Way for Women to Make A Difference in Long Island

Ladies - Did you know you can help improve treatments for health conditions that impact women’s health by participating in a clinical trial in Long Island?

Women can make a difference for themselves and for future generations of women by participating in a Long Island Women's Health Study

Long Island clinical trials are promoted by the FDA.  Trials are a research study that helps to show whether a test or treatment works and is safe. There are many ways you can take part in a trial. Some trials ask you questions about treatments you already take. In other trials, you take a new drug. Some clinical trials use healthy people. Other trials use people who have a specific health problem.
