Our Staff at BrightStar Care® North Hills / Pittsburgh

As a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA) and owner of BrightStar Care® of the North Hills in Pittsburgh, my goal is to help seniors and disabled adults live comfortably and safely in their homes for as long as possible. My family’s personal experience caring for my son after suffering traumatic brain injury inspired us to support other families struggling to care for their loved ones at home by opening a new BrightStar Care office in the North Hills of Pittsburgh, PA. I earned my undergraduate degree from Penn State and graduate degree from Lehigh University. When I heard about BrightStar Care, I decided it was a perfect opportunity to help families, create jobs, and give back to the community. While this is a second career for me, helping out families in need and providing quality jobs for our great staff is the most meaningful and rewarding work I’ve ever done.

Holly started at BrightStar Care as a Customer Care Manager in 2016. In 2018, she transitioned to the role of HR Manager and in 2020 she became our Vice President of Operations. Holly plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of the BrightStar office. Her responsibilities encompass a wide range of areas including oversight of recruiting, billing, payroll, IT support, customer and employee satisfaction, training, credentialing, scheduling, and all aspects of Human Resources. Holly’s background includes extensive experience with office administration, accounts payable and receivable, and payroll.

Denice began her career for BrightStar Care in March 2017. As Director of Nursing she conducts the initial home assessments for all new clients and she creates their plan of care. Denice also supervises care provided by BrightStar staff. After earning her RN in 1991, Denice continued her love of nursing working at Allegheny General Hospital and Western PA School for Blind Children. Her goal is to provide quality care to allow our clients to safely function in the comfort of their home.

Hannah began her career at Brightstar Care as a Caregiver in 2016. Shortly thereafter, she was promoted to Field Specialist where she had the opportunity to get to know many of our clients and began to learn the role of Customer Care Manager. Hannah then worked as a Customer Care Manager for a little over a year before changing roles again and jumping into HR and recruiting. Currently, her primary focus is on recruiting.

Alyssa began her career with BrightStar Care in 2017 as the Recruitment Manager.  She is responsible for growing our incredible field staff by posting jobs, phone screening candidates and scheduling interviews.  She came with over 5 years of recruiting experience and holds a BA from Penn State in Journalism.  

Amy began her career with BrightStar Care in 2012 working a few hours a week in billing.  Now as Finance Manager, Amy takes care of running payroll weekly, billing, A/R, and A/P.  She grew up in the North Hills area and enjoys working for a company that makes such an impact in her community.  She holds a BA from Penn State in Accounting.  

Dionne began her career at BrightStar Care in March 2022.  Dionne brings 30 years of experience in Customer Service.  She finds great satisfaction when helping others.  Dionne’s goal is to ensure care and staff coverage to meet the needs of our clients and serve as a point of contact for client/customer relations.  Dionne has lived in the North Hills area most of her life and enjoys working with and for those in her community.
