The United Way Caregivers Coalition is excited to invite you to register for their next virtual Munch and Learn, which will take place on Tuesday, May 25th from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm. The topic is "Memories Live."
Deborah Day, the Manager of United Way Caregivers Coalition, is please to present this virtual event. This presentation will discuss the power of film to eternalize loved one's images, stories, and wisdom. The presenter will be Kerry Glass, who is the creator of the Memories Live concept. She graduated from Rutgers University with a BA in Psychology and Fine Arts, focusing on photography and videography. She then received a Master's in Art Therapy from Pratt Institute. Kerry began this chapter of her life when a young woman in her community passed away from cancer, leaving behind her husband and two young children. That evening the concept of Memories Live was born. Memories Live is a non-profit that creates legacy movies for people who have life-limiting illnesses. These movies are made free of charge and serve as a meaningful keepsake for family members. In 10 years Memories Live has filmed over 200 individuals.
