Shoppers can find gently used designer clothing for men, women and children at a steal!
In addition to clothing, the store offers collectibles, household goods, and vintage items. The store is run by the Women's Association for Morristown Medical Center. "What started out as a small thrift shop on South Street in Morristown over 60 years ago to help raise money for Morristown Medical Center, has turned into one of WAMMC's largest and most successful fundraising entities," said Mary Courtemanche, President of the Women's Association for Morristown Medical Center. The Bargain Box has great bargains and service in a brand new location. The new location is 1117 Mt. Kemble Avenue, four miles south of the previous location, on Country Mile in Morristown.
The thrift store is open Mondays, 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturdays 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
WAMMC makes a difference for patients, visitors & staff at the hospital. “Their focus is serving the people who find themselves at the Medical Center. We know that many circumstances which bring people to the hospital can be difficult and we want to make sure that the atmosphere is as welcoming and stress reducing as possible.” Many of WAMMC Twig Auxilaries are very involved with service activities at the Medical Center, and offer a great way to be a part of the good work Morristown Medical Center does.
