Help Fight Multiple Sclerosis with BrightStar Morris County!
Team Marcy’s Mom will be participating in the National MS Society’s Walk MS at South Mountain Reservation in West Orange on April 17, 2016. Your support will help to create a world free of MS. Every hour of every day, someone is diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, an unpredictable, often disabling, disease of the central nervous system. Millions of people are affected by MS with its unpredictable symptoms. The progress, severity, and specific symptoms of MS in any one person cannot yet be predicted, but advances in research and treatment continue. The National MS Society’s goals are to stop MS in its tracks, restore what’s been lost, and end MS forever. That is why we need your help. Last year, Walk MS nationally raised $42 million to support life-changing programs and cutting-edge MS research. I’ve been leading Team Marcy’s Mom since 2010 and we have raised over $13,000. This year, Walk MS has set a goal of $48.8 million and I’ve set this year’s team goal at $3500.
