Founders of BrightStar Care of Fairfax, Reston, McLean, Arlington-Alexandria, Lynchburg, and Roanoke, Virginia. Rob was born and raised in Lynchburg.

Jenifer is a dedicated advocate for compassionate care and community support. A Lynchburg native, she deeply values the strong sense of connection between caregivers, clients, and staff.

Before dedicating herself to raising three children, Jenifer worked as a counselor for runaway and at-risk youth, providing guidance and support during critical times. Over the years, she has also cared for aging and terminally ill family members, gaining firsthand experience in the importance of quality home care.

In 2021, Jenifer was diagnosed with colorectal cancer, an experience that gave her a profound understanding of the impact exceptional home care can have during times of pain and uncertainty. She believes that the relationships between clients, caregivers, and nurses can provide comfort and stability when it is needed most.

Jenifer is excited to be part of BrightStar Care of Lynchburg, where she is committed to delivering the highest standard of care to her community.

Darlene is a dedicated and compassionate nursing professional with over two decades of experience in healthcare. From a young age, she aspired to become a nurse, and at 23, she achieved her goal by earning her Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification. After 23 years of dedicated service, she further advanced her career by obtaining her Registered Nurse (RN) degree.

Throughout her career, Darlene has gained invaluable experience in long-term care, home health, and correctional healthcare, finding each role to be deeply rewarding. She has had the privilege of working with and caring for many incredible individuals, reinforcing her passion for nursing.

Born and raised in the Lynchburg area, Darlene is a proud mother of two and a devoted grandmother to two wonderful grandsons. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, spending quality time with her family, and relaxing at the beach.

Patrick brings a strong commitment to enhancing home care services and improving the lives of aging individuals. Recognizing the rapid growth and impact of the industry, he saw an opportunity to contribute meaningfully while expanding his expertise.

Since joining BrightStar Care of Fairfax in 2014, Patrick has played a key role in supporting the community. As the Skilled Manager, he enjoys a dynamic and flexible role that provides valuable insight into how home care services meet the needs of clients. He works closely with insurance companies to help ensure that the growing number of aging adults—over 10,000 baby boomers turning 65 each day—have the opportunity to age in place safely and comfortably.

Patrick strives to improve access to high-quality home care, helping individuals remain in their homes while receiving the support they need.

Robert has been an integral part of BrightStar Care of Fairfax since its inception in 2012. As the Human Resources Manager, he oversees new caregiver orientations, ensuring that each team member is well-prepared to provide exceptional care.

Robert takes great pride in his role, engaging with caregivers, clients, and their families to understand their needs and expectations. His ability to connect with people on a personal level allows him to help maintain the highest standards of care. With a passion for supporting both staff and clients, Robert plays a vital role in fostering a compassionate and professional home care environment.

Haseena is a passionate healthcare professional with over five years of experience in healthcare operations, human resources, recruiting, talent management, and marketing. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration with a focus on Health Systems Management from George Mason University, equipping her with a strong foundation in healthcare operations and workforce development.

Specializing in the homecare industry, Haseena has played a pivotal role in HR, recruitment, and talent management strategies, ensuring the development of high-performing teams committed to quality patient care. Her passion for healthcare was sparked by years of volunteer work in high school, where she engaged with individuals of all ages, from children to seniors. This experience solidified her commitment to a career focused on improving the lives of others.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Haseena enjoys crafting and DIY projects, spending time outdoors, watching movies, cooking, and relaxing with her beloved cat, Simba.

Nora has been an integral part of BrightStar Care of Fairfax since 2019, bringing a deep commitment to supporting clients and caregivers. She believes that everyone has unique strengths and talents, and recognizing these qualities is essential in providing exceptional care.

While her role does not involve direct client care, Nora understands the significant impact she has behind the scenes. By gaining a thorough understanding of both clients and caregivers, she enhances the efficiency of billing processes, helping to alleviate financial concerns for families. With extensive experience navigating insurance carriers, long-term care policies, and financial matters, she is dedicated to ensuring accurate billing and seamless invoicing. Her goal is to reduce stress for clients and their families, allowing them to focus on what matters most—quality care and well-being.

Heather is a seasoned healthcare professional with over 34 years of experience in the field. Her commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care is reflected in her dedication to improving outcomes through collaboration and empathy. Heather firmly believes that every life matters and strives each day to make a meaningful impact on those she serves.

Outside of work, Heather enjoys walks by the lake, reading, and spending quality time with her family. She also finds joy in attending church and worshiping with her church family, embracing the sense of community and faith that enriches her life.

Donna has been a valued member of BrightStar Care of Fairfax since 2020. Through her work in the home care industry, she has witnessed firsthand the profound impact of the caregiver-client relationship, which often extends beyond care to companionship, friendship, and a sense of family.

Passionate about her role, Donna takes pride in sharing the stories of clients and caregivers, highlighting their meaningful connections within the Fairfax County community. Her dedication to storytelling helps showcase the compassionate care and support that BrightStar Care provides.
