Lubbock Challenger Little League
Lubbock Challenger began in 1991 to create a league were kids of every ability can enjoy America’s past time. Participants play on a modified baseball field that is completely flat, including bases and mounds which are painted on the synthetic surface. This unique field allows medical equipment like walkers and wheelchairs to move about without obstructions. The players are joined by buddies who will support and encourage the player in any way possible and the teams are created based on ability rather than age. No score is recorded instead it is an opportunity for all of the players to have fun! BrightStar will help Lubbock Challenger kick of the event with opening day.Opening Day
Opening day is an exciting event for players, families and volunteers. Our players will be able to play games prior to the first pitch. Over 50 booths from South Plains businesses will setup games, face painting and other activities to participate in. There will even be some of your favorite superheroes, princesses and villains
attending!BrightStar team members will be present to set up for the event, help players check-in and manage the BrightStar booths. We will also have challenger bingo and scavenger hunts happening throughout opening day with the
opportunity to win prizes every hour.
