"Fama. What a Godsend! There is not enough room for me to write the many praises that are needed for this angel from God. Fama came into our family's life close to 2 years ago, when my mother Ann needed some pretty significant assistance. Mom was on her last leg it seemed. Fama has brought such a light and so much encouragement that mom got back 15 years of her life, it seemed. Having Fama and Brightstar has enabled mom to live the rest of her life at "home" in her cottage with her loving pets. Mom lost about 40-50 lbs in her complication phase, but since having loving Fama, she is full of food and life. Fama is a wonderful cook and makes eating enjoyable for mom...Her favorite dish is "Fama Tilapia"! Two years ago mom only had care two days a week but loves Fama so much they are doing six days a week because Fama is such a kind spirited, giving loving person. She wants to keep her forever. Fama pushes her to get out of bed each day to eat, exercise, take meds and dress up pretty each day. Fama bring three outfits each day to chose from. Fama makes sure she is drinking lots of water and eating healthy not fast food. "Fama knows I love my earrings and makes sure I have them on everyday." I dreaded taking showers because scared of another fall but now I enjoy them and look forward to it Fama tells me everyday how beautiful I am. We tell each other we love each other when she leaves each day. "Thanks to my wonderful children and Fama I can be in my beautiful cottage with my pets that I love. My children love Fama and she is part of our family!" I think the beautiful soul FAMA deserves caregiver of the year award!!"
