September 16-22 is National Rehabilitation Awareness Week! In celebration, BrightStar Care Leesburg/Gainesville decided to donate flowers (grown by our owner!) to Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital in Aldi, Va.
What is National Rehabilitation Awareness Week?
Founded in 1976, National Rehabilitation Awareness Week offers people like you and me the opportunity to acknowledge the many benefits of rehabilitation programs and the hard work of rehab professionals. It’s designed to celebrate those who strive to make a difference in the lives of people needing services like physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy - services that we will all come to need and know as we age.

Why We Donated Flowers to Encompass Health!
We donated flowers to Encompass Health because we love what they do. They’re one of the leading rehabilitation facilities in Northern Virginia. Their rehabilitation programs cover a wide array of physical conditions like:

Brightstar Care of Leesburg/Gainesville has a great relationship with Encompass Health: working side by side in the recovery of patients within the facility and providing services upon discharge so they can continue their recovery comfortably at home. When Encompass Health approached Brightstar Care about donating flowers to celebrate National Rehabilitation Awareness Week, we jumped at the opportunity!
Our Home-grown Flowers
Dan Price, owner of BrightStar Care Leesburg/Gainesville, donated the flowers from his own garden! The flowers he grows not only support his mission to better the earth by supporting honeybees, they also support his mission to better people’s lives. The sunflowers he grows have become the calling card of BrightStar Care Leesburg/Gainesville.
