Home Care is my passion. The biggest factor in my decision to come to BrightStar was the Joint Commission Accreditation. Additionally, true RN oversight was also exciting. The La Crosse area is my hometown.  I feel that my community deserves the highest quality options of care.  Being able to stand behind all that we do just feels absolutely amazing. There is nothing more rewarding than to make it possible for someone to remain in the comfort of their own home. 

I joined the BrightStar team in May of 2023. I am a native of Wisconsin but had been living in FL 7-years prior to accepting this position. I have seven years of experience managing & directing a Community Care Retirement Community & thirty years of sales, marketing & customer service. I am typically the first face that our new customers see. I am responsible for the intake process along with sales and marketing. I love working with people & helping them maintain their ability to continue to be as independent in the least restrictive setting as possible.

I am a dedicated healthcare professional with over 25 years of experience. I have a strong passion for helping others and making a positive impact in their lives. Throughout my career, I have worked in various healthcare settings, providing compassionate care and support to customers. I am responsible for managing our direct care staff, customer scheduling, & customer service.

When I was looking for a position in home health, BrightStar staff reached out to me almost immediately. The more questions they asked and answered for me, the more intrigued I got about this job. I have always loved jobs that allow autonomy. I like being in charge of how my day MIGHT look (of course, it changes at the drop of a hat!). I also like the variety of things that we do in this position. One day may be an all-day IV, the next I am educating staff, another, . . . who knows!! I also like that it draws on all the skills that I have learned throughout my nursing career.

I feel truly blessed to work for BrightStar Care. I have always had a passion for Home Care as I feel strongly this is the direction health care is headed. Home Care is much more cost effective, reduces hospital readmissions, and the bottom line is most people wish to remain in their own homes over moving to a facility. I am so happy I joined this team. The La Crosse team is very strong and do whatever they can to make things happen. I love the variety of challenges I am faced with every day. The bottom line is I enjoy waking up every day knowing I am going to a job that I truly love!!!

I came to BrightStar Care with over 20 years of expertise in healthcare leadership and business development. My experience working in payor, technology, and provider segments provides a unique understanding of the healthcare system.  I am passionate about providing exceptional care and delivering the best possible outcomes to clients, families, and community partners. My goal is to ensure BrightStar operations are client-centered, compassionate, and focused on delivering a higher standard of care.
