Senior Care in Jupiter Island FL

Senior Care in Jupiter Island FL For many people it is hard to imagine a warm weather season without a few tall glasses of lemonade. This sweet and sour beverage is a staple in childhood, but it can also be a refreshing and even nutritious treat for you to enjoy with your aging loved one throughout your spring and summer senior care days. May 1 is Lemonade Day, the perfect time for you to revisit this nostalgic favorite drink and experiment with some grownup twists that elevate the flavor and even pack in a bit of extra nutrition. For even more fun, go on an adventure with your parent and their senior health care services provider to a local farmer's market and find fresh fruit and other ingredients to include. This will give you confidence that you are using only the best ingredients, and it will give your parent some extra physical activity. Let some of these ideas inspire you for fresh twists to put on your glass of lemonade:
  • Add strawberry nectar and sliced strawberries
  • Blend fresh lemonade with ice to make a slushy texture and top with a baked meringue mound for a play on lemon meringue pie
  • Make ice cubes out of sweet tea and use them to both cool and flavor the lemonade
