Each January, Best of Home Care uses client and caregiver satisfaction ratings gathered by HCP, a third-party quality management firm, to evaluate home care providers. Based on these ratings, awards are given to home care providers who have met or exceeded standards for their region. The reviews are 100 percent verified, and home care providers cannot manually enter reviews or purchase a listing on BestofHomeCare.com. It is important to the site that the reviews be the authentic opinions of actual clients, because it is the goal of Best of Home Care and HCP to take the guesswork out of choosing a caregiver. The Leader in Experience award is given to the top 10 percent of agencies participating in the nationwide HCP Experience Management Program and is based on client and caregiver satisfaction ratings gathered by HCP. This award shows that the recipients have proven that they provide quality care across every satisfaction category, ranking among the very highest in 10 or more quality metrics measured by HCP. To qualify, a home service provider must receive high client and caregiver satisfaction ratings in areas like compassion of caregivers, communication, caregiver training, scheduling, and client/caregiver compatibility. - Provider of Choice is the second award given to BrightStar Care of Jupiter. This award is based on client satisfaction ratings, and to earn the award, a home care agency must have an average overall client satisfaction score of 8.75 on a scale of one to 10. Presented to home care agencies that are not only trustworthy but also best in class for providing quality care to their clients, this recognition indicates that the agency is committed to listening and incorporating client feedback, in order to offer the highest level of service. This requires at least 12 third party client surveys over a period of six consecutive months.
- The Employer of Choice award reflects caregiver satisfaction. If a home care agency doesn’t care for its team members, it is not likely to do a good job of caring for its clients. To determine the recipients of the Employer of Choice award, HCP collects caregiver satisfaction ratings via telephone interviews. An agency must have a minimum of 12 of these third-party caregiver surveys over six months, resulting in an average caregiver score of 8.75 out of 10 in order to receive this prestigious award. Hiring an agency with an Employer of Choice award means you can confidently expect caregivers who are happy, engaged, and ready to provide exceptional care. To receive this award and agency must demonstrate the highest levels of care, professionalism, and expertise in the industry.
