Our Staff at BrightStar Care® Hot Springs / Benton

Local owner Mike Scott is a native Arkansan who has made it his mission to provide the highest quality of care to families and businesses in the Hot Springs / Benton area. After visiting his great grandmother in a nursing home, Mike learned at an early age that he did not want his grandparents or parents to be in the same position. He made a promise to his mother right then that he would not put her in a facility. As an adult, he has been able to help many families across Arkansas fulfill that same promise. Mike is a Certified Senior Advisor and is proud to be running the premier Home Care and Medical Staffing Agency in Arkansas.

Sandi has been an RN since 1990 working in many different capacities such as Hospital Med/Surge, Home Health, School Nurse and Case Management.  Sandi has been with BrightStar Care since 2012 and works with our clients and caregivers performing skills checks, supervisory visits, assessments, teaching, training and case management.  She also assists with surveys and Joint Commission Accreditation.  Sandi has a nurse’s heart, a kind demeanor, an infectious attitude and her compassion for those we care for shines through daily.

Miya Ward was born in California but made Arkansas her home in 2015. Miya is our newest addition as our Customer Care Manager. Her passion in life is to help others. After trying her hand in real estate management and customer service, she realized helping others through quality healthcare was her calling. When she is not working she is enjoying quality time with her family. Miya enjoys baking and experimenting in the kitchen.

Brie Harris came aboard our BrightStar Care team as the Recruiting Manager for our Hot Springs and Little Rock locations. Prior to dedicating her efforts to grow our medical staffing team, Brie gained an extensive background and knowledge in customer care through various positions she’s held. Using her expertise, Brie is determined to make sure that all of our employees are equipped to carry out the BrightStar Care goal and ensure the best experience possible for our clients. In her down time, Brie enjoys being creative and crafting. She also enjoys spending time outside with her family.
