In 2013, Becky and Marc Torrez, both lifelong Las Vegans, felt a strong desire to give back to the community that had enriched their lives. They witnessed firsthand the dynamic growth and challenges faced by a rapidly
expanding city. After careful deliberation, they were captivated by the outstanding reputation of the BrightStar Care brand. Their vision was to establish a home care agency that would surpass expectations and empower individuals to lead more fulfilling lives.

Motivated by an authentic passion for making a positive difference in the lives of others, Becky and Marc embarked on their journey to establish BrightStar Care as an industry leader renowned for excellence. By embracing a client-centric approach and fostering a culture of compassion, BrightStar Care not only meets but surpasses the highest standards of care, instilling trust and peace of mind among clients and their families.

BrightStar Care has emerged as a shining symbol of excellence within the home care industry, combining the Torrezes’ deep understanding of Las Vegas and its community with an unwavering dedication to providing exceptional care. 

Franchesca was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She has 20+ years of management experience within the senior living industry, including independent and assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory care. She is excited to be serving as Director of Business Development and Family Liason with BrightStar Care of W Las Vegas. 

With over 20 years of experience managing offices and small businesses, Ginny handles our internal administration and many accounting responsibilities.  She has lived in Las Vegas since 1996 with her husband and two daughters.  Ginny joined BrightStar Care in January 2016 and is thrilled to be a part of the team.

With over 30 years of nursing experience, Angela K. Whitehair is a dedicated healthcare leader committed to delivering high-quality patient care and fostering strong relationships within the medical community. Since joining BrightStar Healthcare in 2013, Angela has played a pivotal role in launching and growing the Las Vegas branch, ensuring excellence in patient services, and driving business development through innovative care solutions.

As Director of Nursing, Angela oversees clinical operations, collaborates with healthcare teams to develope and implement patient care plans, and provides direct patient care, including administering intravenous medications and interpreting diagnostic tests. Her expertise extends to assessing patient needs in home and workplace environments, as well as educating individuals and families on disease prevention and health improvement strategies. 

Angela’s extensive background includes roles in dermatology, pediatrics, labor and delivery, and medical spa settings, where she has demonstrated a passion for patient advocacy, organizational growth, and evidence-based treatment approaches. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Missouri and maintains certifications in BioTe therapy, infusion nursing, and CPR. Dedicated, results-driven, and patient-focused, Angela continues to elevate BrightStar Healthcare’s standards of excellence, ensuring compassionate, comprehensive, and innovative nursing care.

With over 15 years of leadership experience, I have dedicated my career to fostering strong teams and delivering exceptional service. Since joining Brightstar Care in 2020, I have been proud to contribute to our mission of providing a higher standard of care. As Branch Manager, I am committed to upholding our core values—making it great, doing the right thing, and serving with passion. Originally from Memphis, TN, I bring a deep appreciation for community and connection, ensuring that every client and employee feels valued and supported.

Ann has lived in Las Vegas since 1995 and has 30 years of experience in various roles within the healthcare industry. She began her healthcare career in ophthalmology as a surgical assistant, a role she held for 12 years. Over the years, Ann has worked with ENT surgeons, general surgeons, and home health providers, as well as serving as an in-home care manager. She has a passion for helping people of all ages and warmly welcomes everyone she meets.
