We cannot say enough good things about our experience with Brightstar. Their care for our father has been impeccable. All of the care takers are kind, patient and respectful. The care they provide is excellent. They have been responsive to all questions and concerns. Dan suggested and has helped us get the Veteran’s benefits we did not know our father was eligible for and this has helped our parents financially. We have had a fantastic experience with BrightStar! The entire staff has been helpful with every aspect of the care - from scheduling the right fit for my mom, to helping with LTC application, billing - questions big and small. They have been incredibly flexible when we had to make schedule changes. We loved the caregivers who have helped my mom and our family navigate the scary world of dementia.

Of the many agencies we've used over the years for the care of my parents, BrightStar without a doubt has been the very best. Denise was so attentive to us during the placement process and the lovely caregivers we had were perfectly chosen; Tamara and Jessica have been the most kind and most able caregivers!! Dan McCoy, the owner, has been unfailingly responsive and hands on, while Shemelle in the office could not be any sunnier or more efficient in arranging things! And the tremendous Aly, who served as our nurse is patient and calming and furnished us with wonderful ideas and tools used throughout this exceptional caregiving. Heartfelt thanks to the wonderful group at BrightStar!!!

Trying to find the right health care company to be the "right" help was a nerve-racking experience. So much was at stake, and I just had to be sure I was making the right choice. Yes, I did interview and check out other at home care services for sure but there was no doubt I had the right place when I interviewed BrightStar Care. From my very first phone conversation to the meeting of the minds at the kitchen table, the comfort I felt was an overwhelming relief and the confidence I gained assured me this was the right home health care service. I recommended highly!!

We would highly recommend BrightStar Care of Hartford to anyone in need of additional support to keep their loved one at home. Everyone we worked with was so accommodating in setting up a daily schedule to help our loved transition back home following a hospital and rehab stay. When a new caregiver came to the home, it seemed there was always one of the management team there to do introductions and ensure everything went smoothly. Kudos to the whole team in going out of their way to making this a smooth transition!! We cannot thank you enough!
