Lisa Moore – Blakley is a Brightstar Caregiver. She arrived in the Upstate from the Massillon / Canton Ohio area just two years ago but felt at home here right away. “I’ve met a lot of great people here in South Carolina; I’ve never known people could be so friendly and genuine. I just love people and learning from everybody. “
Lisa joined Brightstar in March. “I love them. I love the clients they have me with. It’s been a great experience. I love the flexibility, and I love the one-on-one care I’m able to give to the client. A client I have now called Brightstar when her husband was sick, so she was familiar with us and when it was her time to get help for herself, she chose Brightstar again.”
Lisa also likes that Brightstar has franchising opportunities because she has long wanted to work for herself. She said, “this is leading me where I want to go.”
In Ohio, Lisa was employed by a restaurant and then worked in day care. “I’ve had nothing but great experiences since I’ve been here. I’m just thankful that I have the opportunity to be here and love the job that I have.” Lisa makes her home in Gaffney. Her clients are mostly in the Tryon and Columbus North Carolina area, she said. “So, I drive a pretty good distance, but I love what I do.
Lisa naturally makes family a priority. “I work a lot and don’t have a lot of spare time but on Sunday I go to Church. I live with my son and spend time with my grandchildren. I visit family in Ohio from time-to-time.”
Thanks for the joyful attitude you bring every day, Lisa. Because of your excellent work, you’re the July Brightstar Caregiver of the Month!
