Brightstar Caregivers are at the heart of everything we do and we appreciate every one of them. We give special recognition to one each month and with that in mind, we introduce you to Janae Leak. Janae is a relatively new caregiver and joined us in August 2016. It didn’t take her long to decide on her calling and she got her CNA certificate while still in high school. Janae became a caregiver because she likes helping others. She also sees it as valuable experience while she pursues her next goal, to be a registered nurse. She’s taking nursing classes at Greenville Tech.
Janae has an active family life with two daughters, ages two and seven. She also enjoys spending time with her mother and her sister. When asked what she enjoys doing in her spare time, Janae paused and said she really doesn’t have much of that but she does like to shop and just hang out with family.
