Alexandria Van Curen Is Our August Brightstar Caregiver Of The Month

August 11, 2017
Caregiving is hard work. Alexandria Van Curen – Ali – is a caregiver for Brightstar Care Greenville and Spartanburg and she says it can also be rewarding.

Asked why she chose to become a caregiver, Ali said: “I’ve been caring for other people for a long time, beginning with babysitting. I love helping people and making their lives easier, even if it just means hanging out with them.”  When Ali's babysitting days were over, she helped other people again when she spent two summers as a camp counselor for special needs kids. She became a caregiver for Brightstar.
Ali grew up in Beaufort, South Carolina but moved to the Upstate 6 years ago and attended Converse College in Spartanburg. She now lives in Greer.  On her time off, she reads a lot and enjoys time with her friends. She no longer has time for athletics but played soccer when she was 16 and more recently played softball in her church league. Ali also enjoys spending time with her parents who also live in the Upstate.

One of her clients wrote us:
“I simply wanted to take a few moments to express the effectiveness and kindness of one of your employees, Alexandria VanCuren.  Over the last six months that she has been working with me I’ve found her to be one of the most diligent, cooperative, bright, and consistent personal care assistants with which I’ve ever worked.  She proven willing to learn new routines of care, flexible and adaptable, and not only has she never been late, she’s rarely even missed a day.  I trust she is seen as a tremendous asset to your company because I know she is truly one to our family. “ – Chris T.

She is! Alexandria VanCuren is our Brightstar Greenville and Spartanburg Caregiver of the month of July!
