  • Troy Dahman, BSBA

    Human Resources Manager & Business Development Officer

    Troy Dahman, a native of Refugio, Texas, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the hospital and healthcare sector. With a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Waldorf University, Troy excels in management, technical writing, healthcare management, and business process improvement.

    Currently serving as the Human Resources and Business Development Manager at BrightStar Care for over 4 years, Troy oversees recruitment, employee relations, and HR compliance.

    Troy's career includes leadership positions such as Center Director at Octapharma Plasma, Inc., and Grifols, where he demonstrated proficiency in managing operations, P&L, community relations, and regulatory compliance in the biopharmaceutical industry.

    Prior to this, Troy served as the Regional Director of Field Operations at United Blood Services, representing the Wyoming region. He also held the role of Manager of Donor Services, Fixed Site Operations at BioBridge Global, overseeing multiple community blood facilities, as well as other management roles over the span of 9 years.

    Additionally, Troy contributes to the community as a Board Member at Haven for Hope of Bexar County, demonstrating his commitment to social responsibility and community welfare.

    Throughout his career, Troy has shown a commitment to driving organizational success through strategic initiatives, process improvements, and effective leadership.

  • Paul Duduit

    Staffing & National Accounts Manager

    Paul Duduit is a highly motivated professional with a Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology from Boston University. Skilled in marketing, government contracts, and healthcare industry operations, he currently serves as Staffing Manager at BrightStar Care San Antonio. In this role, Paul not only oversees multiple departments and staff but also plays a pivotal role in procuring and managing government contracts, particularly in the health care sector. Additionally, he is responsible for coordinating and executing marketing strategies to enhance patient census and facilitate effective facility staffing. Paul's expertise also extends to managing clinical trials, medical social and wellness event contracts, and setting up procurement bids for various projects. Moreover, he serves as a BLS Instructor at the American Heart Association. Previous experience includes roles in client services, recruiting, legislative aid, and volunteering. Paul holds a Texas State DSHS EMT-B License and American Heart BLS Instructor certification.
  • Katie Ballard

    Director of Nursing
    Katie Ballard is an accomplished Registered Nurse based in Bandera, TX, with a broad expertise across multiple healthcare domains including Home Health, Geriatrics, acute care, Orthopedic Rehab, and teaching. Known for her reliability and ethical healthcare practices, Katie excels in crisis intervention, group facilitation, and collaborative teamwork. She possesses strong clinical skills in medication administration, wound care, IV therapy, and comprehensive nursing care management.

    Since May 2024, Katie has held the position of Director of Nursing for BrightStar Care's San Antonio and Austin agencies. In this role, she oversees nursing operations, ensuring high standards of patient care, regulatory compliance, and staff training. Her previous roles include RN Case Manager, Field Nurse, QA Manager, and Education Nurse at Crest Home Health in Boerne, TX, where she supervised LVNs, conducted OASIS QA, and managed home health visits.

    Katie earned her Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Grand Canyon University and an Associate degree in Nursing from Career Point College. Her career trajectory underscores a commitment to patient-centric care, clinical excellence, and leadership in healthcare management.

    HR Recruiter

    Erin Loftin is a dedicated HR Assistant and Recruiter proficient in effectively maintaining all HR systems, including ensuring information accuracy and compliance with healthcare policies and HIPAA regulations. Erin has proven herself committed to supporting employees to foster a positive work environment to the benefit of our patients. She is skilled in all aspects of the recruitment process, endeavoring to recruit the best healthcare talent available in the home healthcare industry so our patients receive the quality care they deserve.

    She is an engaged volunteer with diverse experience contributing to environmental and community organizations ranging from Tree Co in Orange County, California, to the Irvine Nature Center in Irvine, California, to REINS Therapeutic Horsemanship in Fallbrook, California, where she demonstrated a true commitment to animal welfare and therapeutic support.
