Ed Fichtel, Owner of BrightStar Care of Fredericksburg-Springfield, elected to Board of Directors for Transitions4You, a Christ-centered non-profit organization focused on helping displaced families regain their independence and self-sufficiency.
Transitions4You works to empower families to achieve stability in four main areas: housing, employment, financial, and spiritual. There are on average 500+ families that live 
in the motels in Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania, and Stafford. Many of these families are sharing a single room with children. Displaced families suffer a multitude of risk-factors. These risk-factors can cause them to lose their identity and self-worth. Transitions4You’s goal is to help these families reclaim their lives to become so much more than what they see today and move forward to a better tomorrow. BrightStar Care of Fredericksburg proudly provides Home Care and Support for Seniors, including 24 hour in home care, and support in independent and assisted living communities. We provide all levels of home care from companion services to Skilled Nursing. Medical Staffing, Home care, In-Home Skilled Nursing, In-Home Physical Therapy for pediatric, adult and geriatric patients, Companion and Personal Care for Elders with Alzheimer’s or Dementia.
