To pay tribute to the specialized and tireless work of thousands of nurses throughout the network, BrightStar Care launched a national Nurse of the Year program to recognize the nurses who are working hard to deliver A Higher Standard of Home Care each and every day. This year, our Director of Nursing Renee Gwinn was nominated. Here is the nomination letter about Renee: I would like to nominate our DON, Renee Gwinn. Since Renee has joined our local BrightStar Care Team we have taken a major step forward. Renee has taken every opportunity possible to ensure our office follows all Joint Commission and licensure guidelines. Not only do we follow them, we strive for perfection. Renee is on-top of everything and always available to "put out fires". Renee is a strong patient advocate, our clients appreciate that. No matter how big or small the issue may be, Renee treats it with the utmost attention it deserves.
