BrightStar Care’s regional director of Marketing and Community Outreach, Christina Wingate-Spence, has been nationally recognized as the organization’s Salesperson of the Year.
Independently owned and operated by Thomas A. Graves, MBA, FACHE, BrightStar Care’s locations in Anne Arundel County, Easton and Berlin are three in a network of more than 300 franchise locations nationwide. Wingate-Spence was one of four sales and marketing professionals across the country, recognized during BrightStar’s annual Branch Leadership Conference, held virtually in May. BrightStar’s local leadership has been recognized at the national conference for two consecutive years, having brought home the Local Marketing Excellence Award at last year’s conference, held in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Wingate-Spence joined BrightStar nearly three years ago and in her role, oversees all marketing functions and community education and outreach for Graves’ three locations, which collectively provide home care services in Anne Arundel and Prince George’s counties, parts of Southern Maryland and the entire Eastern Shore. A Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP), she has been instrumental in leading her team to offer numerous Alzheimer’s disease and dementia education opportunities to area family and professional caregivers, including the Virtual Dementia Tour® – a patented simulation program of nonprofit organization Second Wind Dreams® – which makes it possible for participants to experience the physical and mental challenges associated with dementia.
