At BrightStar we know selecting a caregiver for your loved one is a very serious decision. That is why we have an industry leading screening process to ensure the person we provide would be welcome in your home. Here are just some of the steps in our long process:

• Federal, State and County background checks
• In office drug screen administered by our staff both initially and ongoing
• State medical certification checks
• Tuberculosis status checks
• Several reference checks
• Personality “fit” screenings

When we meet with you, we will ask for your needs in care and document all the extras like “Mom enjoys word games.” We then match your needs with the skills and personality of our caregivers. We even offered a Guaranteed Match. Our Director of Operations, Dawn Wade, has been in the home care industry for the last 10 years.  She loves finding the right caregiver for each patient.  She also leads our recruiting efforts. From childcare to elder care, please call any of us to help you with your needs. The San Diego BrightStar team is available to you 24 hours a day, seven days a week. All client cases are constantly reviewed by our staff to be sure that your needs are fully met. We take the time to make sure that the total well-being of each patient is fully considered at all times, and that family members are apprised of their loved one’s situation and progress. Our level of care is also monitored through an independent survey company, so we can always receive quality feedback from our customers regarding satisfaction with our services. We’ve been there.
